The climate of Korea 

features a humid continental climate with

dry winter. Seoul is classed as having a

 temperate climate with four distinct

seasons, but temperature differences

between the hottest part of summer 

and the depths of winter are extreme.

Generally, spring is March to May,

summer is from June to August,

fall is from September to November,

and winter is December to February.

March is the beginning of spring.

Although the average temperature is 

13-14℃ in the sunny and warmer,

 there is still cold weather in  March, 

so warm coat is needed.

 

In the spring, sand dust from the

 mainland of China affects the yellow 

sand. It is good to wear a mask when 

yellow sand is bad.

 

There are flower festivals in spring

such as Han River Yeouido Spring 

Flower Festival ; ii is a flower festival

 in Yeouido during the cherry blossom 

season.

In summer (June-August)

Although the average temperature

from June to August is 25-27 ℃,

the influence of the North Pacific

high-pressure system brings hot,

humid weather with temperatures

soaring as high as 33-35 °C (95 °F)

on occasion in the end of July to

the beginning of August.

 

 

Please note that from late June to 

early July, it is a rainy season.

In rainy season, it is good to take an 

umbrella even if it does not rain

 in the morning.

Korea's autumn is pleasant from 

September to November with an 

average temperature of 13-14 degrees.

 

September still has the heat in the

daytime, but it is cool in the morning

 and in the evening, so let's  prepare

 a thin coat.

 

In October, the high pressure of mobile 

is lined up to the east and west, and

 the pattern of high pressure continues. 

Therefore, it shows clear weather

 for a long time. 

 

The air is clear and the sky is high, 

so it is the best season for outdoor

 activities. You can enjoy reddish and

yellow colored leaves everywhere.

Winter in Korea

 is cold from December to February 

and average temperature is  -6℃ to

 7℃ degrees.

 

The city is topographically influenced by

expanding Siberian High-pressure zones

and prevailing west winds, temperatures

dropping almost as low as -15 °C (-4 °F) in

severe cold waves.

 

The bitterly cold days tend to come in

three-day cycles regulated by rising and

falling pressure systems, during winter

snowfall can cause frosty weather

in the city.

 

It is good to have a hat and gloves

 because there are snowy days.

Winter in Korea can see snow and

 enjoy skiing and snow sleighing.

people in the city are spring and autumn,

when azure blue skies and comfortable

and pleasant temperatures are regular.
