How to use Busan Metro Subway System

Busan
is a big city with heavy traffic, so it
is convenient to use the subway.
It is not so difficult to use metro in Busan
because it is simpler and less complex
than Seoul's metro line.
There are 1-4 lines in Busan Metro with
Donghae and Busan-Gimhae light rail.
Among them, the main lines are 1 and 2,
connecting major tourist destinations.

When you go to Jagalchi, Nampodong,
Gwangbok-dong, Busan Sation,
Seomyeon, Dongrae, Beomeosa, you can
use Line 1, which terminates Busan from
North to South area.
For Haeundae, Cinema Hall, Gwangalli,
Seomyeon, Sasang (Linked by Light Rail
for Gimhae Airport), you will use Line 2
which cross the East and West.
[ Buy Metro Tickets ]
You can purchase a ticket using the
vending machine in the station.
You should buy a paper ticket and
one day ticket using the touch screen
on the ticket vending machine.
The fare of paper type ticket is different
according to a customer's destination,
and ages.
You select a line on the upper side of
the screen or a section on the right
side of the screen to purchase a paper
type ticket, and to buy a one day pass,
selects [one day pass] button on the
lower right side of the screen.
When you select a line, you need to
select your destination on the screen
to show every station.
After selecting the number of a ticket
you want on the lower side, you need
to confirm the fare, and insert a one
thousand won bill or coins. and then
just wait a moment until your ticket
comes out.

1 zone 1,400/1,150/700 KRW
2 zone 1,600/1,300/800 KRW
adolescent - age 13 to 18
children - age 5 to 12
Season ticket
1 day pass 5,000 KRW
7 day pass 21,000 KRW
1 month pass 60,000 KRW
[Transfer Information]
A reduced fare will be applied when
you transfer within 30 min. after getting
off your first transportation means only
when using a transportation card.
(Only 2 times in a low)
Transferring service is not available
to the same metro line or the same
route bus.
[ operating hours ]
Basically runs from early morning
(5-6 am) to late night (11 pm-midnight).
