You can enjoy the vibrant and lively

atmosphere of a maritime city, Busan.

 

The most typical methods are using

 airplanes, express buses, and KTX

although there are many ways to go

to Busan from Seoul.

You can take an express bus to Busan

at Seoul (Gyeongbu) terminal,

Dong Seoul (Gyeongbu) termianl,

and also Sangbong terminal.

High-speed KTX trains are a fast and

comfortable way to travel to Busan.

Travel time from Seoul to Busan is

approximately 2 and 1/2 hours.

 

KTX tickets can be purchased at Seoul

station. They can also be purchased

online, but can only be purchased up

to one month in advance.

 

You can check the time schedule to Busan

at www.letskorail.com not only KTX

but also normal trains such as Saemaeul

or Mugunghwa train which are slower

but much cheaper than KTX.

Another way to go to Busan from SEL

 is by airplane from Gimpo Airport.

 

You can arrive at Gimhae Airport

in Busan from Gimpo Airport 

just after one hour flight.

 

But there is no big difference in time

with KTX or express bus considering

check-in time and airport accessibility.

Airplane Rates are very various

 by season and time and airline.

 

Sometimes, 

taking a flight from Gimpo airport to

Gimhae airport can be the best and 

cheaper than KTX.

 

In the case of LCC(Low Cost Carrieer)

such are Jeju Air or  Air Busan,

the rates are much cheaper than

the full service carrier such as 

Asiana Airlines or Korean Airline.
