Are you looking for the best and quickest

way to downtwon Seoul from the airpoort?

 

There are several ways to get to downtown

Seoul from Incheon Airport such as bus,

train, and taxi, etc. I recommend to take

express train, AREX ( Airport Railroad

Express Train) among three options.

 

 

 

 

Express Train (AREX)

 

Express Train(AREX) is a railway line that

connects downtown Seoul with Incheon

International Airport and Gimpo Airport.

 

There are 2 classes of train available:

All Stop Train that stops at every station

and the Express Train that runs non-stop

between Incheon Airport & Seoul Station.

 

I will explain the two types of trains

below in more detail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

[ Express Train ]

Luxury designated-seat premium trains

that goes nonstop between Incheon

Internationl Airport and Seoul Station.

-Depart every 20 to 40 minutes

from Incheon International Airport

-Take approximately 43 minutes

Seoul Station-Incheon Airport 1:

43 minutes

Seoul Station-Incheon Airport2:

51 minutes

Commuter Train that stops at all 14

stations in-between Incheon Airport

and Seoul Station

Eight of 14 stations are connected to nine 

subway stations that travel through Seoul

and the surrounding metropolitan area

 

-Depart every 5 to 10 minutes

-Take approximately 66 minutes

-Fare is different for each stop 

(KRW 4,150 - 4,750 won)
